Our History
Plaza Medical Group, P.C. (PMG) was formed January
1, 1992 through the merger of the Cardiovascular Clinic and Northwest Internal
Medicine Associates, each of those founding groups having operated successfully
since the 1960's. PMG has since grown to a prominent multi-site, multi-specialty group with approximately 300 employees, including 40 physicians. In addition to the founding medical specialties of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, PMG has further expanded to incorporate Surgery, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Family Practice, and Hospitalist care.
The organization has also increased its ancillary care lines to include on-site Arrhythmia, Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear, Diagnostic, and Cath Laboratory services. Additionally, PMG has developed partnering relationships to improve the delivery of quality and efficient patient care in local and rural markets. We deliver value-added services to include physician clinical, mobile Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine to numerous rural communities.
PMG's growth has been attributable to its core commitment of satisfying customer
and community needs through providing quality care. Likewise, PMG's stability
has been attributable to its sound business and financial planning and decision-making.
Such core competencies have served the corporation well and allowed it to not
only persevere, but moreover, even prosper in economic times where other health
care organizations may have encountered success and longevity challenges.
Attached you will find a copy of PMG's Mission Statement and Guiding Principles.
We are confident applying these values will continue to make us even stronger
in every sense over the coming era.
